Sure there's potential here!
Now enlarge that spin motor/generator so that it can generate 10,000 kilowatts. Place that device in zero-gravity like 220 miles above Earth where the Space Shuttle travels. Spin it once and laws of physics will keep that wheel spinning forever creating electric energy until failure. Possible power future space crafts, space propulsion of a rocket to distance planets or even habitat out in space. titanium4motion |

well, if you expend 10 kWh spinning it up you'll at the extreme most be able to extract 10 kWh from it before it stops spinning. You'll not get more energy out than you put in (including energy put in by collecting light, in the form of fuel, etc.).
