Jim - There are several devices and equipment for you to consider. The national database of assistive technology and rehab equipment can be accessed at www.abledata.com For information on equipment that uses Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) including the stationary ergometers (bicycle) go to:
1) FES Information Center: http://feswww.few.cwru.edu/info 2) Therapeutic Alliances, Inc., manufacturers of the ERGYS2: www.musclepower.com 3) Electrlogic of America, manufacturers of StimMaster Ergometer: www.electrologic.com For a good article on standing aids, go to Paraplegia News, December 2001, pp. 36-44 "Standing Aids: Options and Opportunities" www.pn-magazine.com What is your injury level? The stationary ergometers can be used by persons with a T10 and above injury level. CRF |

Also check out www.gpk.com (uppertone)
A search under "exercise" or "bicycles" may also help. Onward and Upward! |

Chris - Thanks for adding information on the Uppertone; I had inadvertantly omitted that. I am aware of C6 quads who are quite satisfied with this equipment. CRF
