Tattoo Question

I'd like to get a full sleeve tattoo, but I'm not sure if it's wise to tattoo the atrophied areas of my forearms (I'm C5/6 and have those skinny #%^$ quad arms). Have any of you done this? What was your experience?

ALSO, do any of you have experience writing or translating sanskrit? Do you have access to sanskrit Buddhist sutras?

What exactly is your concern? I have my right forearm tattooed and plan on getting more. My hand and arm spazzed at times during that 1 hour period, but not too bad. I'm a C-6 incomplete, so I felt it all, but some of it barely hurt at all because I have some diminished pain/tempuratue sensation. I don't think you should worry too much, but I guess AD could be of some concern. You'll want to tell your tattoo artist about the possibility of spasms. I'm posting a photo of my tattoo shortly after I got it done, before the hair on my arm grew back. I wanted it subtle, so I went with white ink, but once the hair grew back in it is barely visible, so I'm going to have it re-inked. I just haven't decided what color yet. I designed the tattoo myself, btw.

I have one around my wrist, no pain very slight spazms, was able to control them though. I would diffenatly sleeve me arm if I had the money for it.

Cool, thanks for the positive response. I just wanted to make sure tattooing an atrophied area wouldn't cause any problems I haven't already foreseen.

Nice tattoo, Scorpion. It looks like some kind of wicked flame scar in your photo

Thanks, dude. I was going for a scar effect, and I loved it until the hair grew back and made it all but invisible. heh. I'm thinking of re-inking it in a light blue. I dunno yet.
