Petition-Paralysis Awareness Postage Stamp

Greetings from the crew at Unite2FightParalysis!

U2FP wanted to pass along some opportunities for our friends to help us with our ongoing fight against paralysis. These came from the Life Rolls On Foundation. Little efforts like this are simple and can serve to increase knowledge about and promote awareness of our cause, finding a cure for paralysis. Remember-it's not IF, it's WHEN.

1. For those injured participating in extreme sports, their friends and family: Take a few moments to help spinal cord injured surfer Jesse Billauer's Life Rolls On Foundation as they conduct their " Extreme Sports Injured Athlete Census".

"...In an effort to determine the number of athletes with spinal cord injuries resulting from accidents while surfing, motocross, snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and BMX, LRO has launched an online campaign to gather this information. Please participate in our online census or forward this link to others, www.liferollson.org/census."

If you know someone that should participate in this survey, please pass the above link along to them.

2. Click the link below, fill in a few blanks, hit submit, and you've petitioned for a "Paralysis Awareness Postage Stamp" featuring Christopher Reeve! (With apologies to those that admired The King, we with paralysis need exposure more than Elvis did.)

This summer, we need to be really active. Please let U2FP know of any regional events related to paralysis cure issues. We will do our level best to get the word-and all of us-out there. Keep an eye on our website, http://unite2fightparalysis.org/, we update the activity section frequently.

We must keep fighting, because we're not walking yet!
