Do you guys think I can get anything for this?
I have this acer netbook that didn't work as great as I thought it would so I'd like to sell it to one of those places that buy computers. I used it mostly for skyping, but I dropped it one time and now it has a black line at the top, I guess the screen broke. Even if I can get 20 bucks for it, I'd be siked since that could buy me lunch at fatburger. Or should I throw it in the trash. What do you guys think?

Not sure. But there are several recycling places for electronics. Google it, most even send you the box/postage and give you something $$ wise for the item.

I would price out the cost to send it via those flat rate USPS boxes (prolly 10 bucks) then put it on ebay for that amount + free shipping and see what you get.

Put it on ebay for parts or repair like t8 suggested. Just be sure to picture it booted up and running like the other auctions do. Check the completed listings below to see what Acer Netbooks like it bring and if there's much interest. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, beats the trash can anyway.

Ugh I have one I would like to get rid of too. Works great just rather have an ipad.

I sold a completely broken laptop on ebay a couple years ago for about $40. Just be sure to totally erase the hard drive in case any of your private info is still on there.
