Durango-ski

Just got home from a week long stay in Durango, Colorado where I went to ski for the first time ever! They have a pretty awesome adaptive sports program out there for newbies to learn. Just saying..if ya get the chance give it a go! BeAuTiFuL~!

I wanted to add to this thread that I went out to Durango, CO on a ski scholarship. They paid for my airfare & I stayed with a host family for the week. All of my skiing expenses were covered for the week too! It was an awesome experience and I wanted to pass it along hopefully someone else from CC can maybe get the scholarship next year!

Very cool, Gurly. Nice pic.

I think you may have been there the same time as someone who helps run AdaptiveSportsForums. She is from Quebec.

most adaptive sports programs have scholarships and grants, just contact the one you're interested in and get info.
