Issue with Roho cushion

I`ve got a Stimulite sport and a low profile roho cushion, i use always the stimulite, roho only is used when my stimulite is washed, but once its dry i jump into the the stimulite again.
My roho was bought around a year ago or less, tomorrow i will call to the dealer for see the date when i bought it.
Well this roho sure i wasn`t have been seating on it more than 20 days total and what was my surprise when i was going to get a shower and after have done the transfer to the toilet i notice the cushion wasnt with air, my wife look at my ass and i have a little sore, probably i was all the morning without air.
I will call the dealer tomorrow and see what`s happen now, here are pics for Roho to see is not a joke and the info of the cushion where you can see it was selled in Spain.

Thats a fairly common problem with ROHO's unfortunately. Maybe Mr Borcherding will see this and offer up some help or advice for you. You are just outside the two year warranty as far as manufacture date goes but maybe they will go on purchase date?

I would think that could be repaired very easily.

Yes, probably even i could repaired no problem myself sticking it with some glue, but that is not my job, because i`ve got a warranty.

Roho please, do better covers and use better glue for valves, and your cushions will improve a lot.

I didnt mean for you to repair it. I was just saying that by some chance if its out of warranty that maybe they could at least repair it for you.

EVERY ROHO I have ever owned manufacture date was very close to the date I actually received the cushion and if that was the case, your warranty would be void.

Mr Borcherding has offered to fix you up. Give the man a call. He is the reason I will remain a faithful ROHO user for life.

FWIW, they also have a new and improved cushion cover.

.
Yes, but that`s you who live in US where they are, i`m from Spain, and even here are not avaible all kind of Roho cushions and all size, i don`t know why, but is like that, so probably the spanish dealer will have a good stock of this cushion that`s why maybe manufacture date will not be same as close as yours.

Toto,

Thanks for your feedback. Since the time you received the cushion referenced in your post we have made improvements in both our covers and the glue we use for our valve stems. Specific to our covers, you will find a recent CareCure thread about the improved stretch and comfort characteristics from the new top surface material. Specific to the glue for valve stems, we have qualified and are now using a new higher strength glue. Every product in ROHO inventory and in production use this higher strength glue. As a manufacturer you are never perfect which is why we have warranties and why service to customers is paramount. But we always strive to get to perfection through a commitment to continuous improvement.

I look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve the problem you experienced with our product.

Regards,

Tom

Ouch! Sorry to hear, hope the sore isnt complicated and heals quickly.

I've had one Roho fail, out of 3 in use for 5 years.

I had a Roho many years ago and it got a series of punctures and went flat. Fortunately no skin sores resulted but I recall well the sense of fear and mild panic that sets in when you're stuck sitting without a cushion under your tushion. If for no other reason, that's why I won't use a Roho for everyday use. (I still have an old one that's good for transfers into and out of the pool, rare as that is for me.)

Hi Toto,

That cushion has a 2 year warranty and given the date of manufacturer I'm sure the date you acquired the cushion falls within the warranty period. Contact me directly and we'll coordinate getting this squared away for you. I want you to be a satisfied ROHO customer, even if the ROHO Cushion is only used as your backup cushion.

Look forward to hearing from you.
