drop foot boots?

Hi,
My dad has a c5-c6 spinal cord injury. He can still do transfers and he has boots we put on him at night BUT sometimes he wants to put himself to bed and the boots fall apart when he tries to do his transfers or move alot - any one have any good ones they like or can use while still sitting in the wheelchair?
Thanks!!
