neck injury

hi can any one explain my mri results. my doctor does not seem concerned. i asked to be sent to PT. i was in auto accident last year and recently turned head and thought i had pulled something in my neck. so doctor referred for xray and mri. results where DDD on c2.c3,c3/c4. then circumferential annular bulging of the c5/c6 and c6/c7 discs. locialized area of left ventrolateral broad based protrusion of the c6/c7 disc deforming the thecal sac. there is noevidence of significant spinal or foraminal stenosis or myelomiacia. i have never had any pain but have had tingling of face, eye, upper torsil, that is intermittant. this has basically gone away. oh i just remembered i did have extreme pain once when a PT did a compression move on my neck. never went back to her.

Hi CFS, Welcome. Do you have any numbness or functional mobility related issues? Great you don't have ongoing pain. Sometimes the cranial nerves (trigeminal) can get involved. Did your doctor give you feedback if there was any disk related protrusion which could cause you problems now or down the road, even if there doesn't seem to be surgical intervention needed? Good to ask a lot of questions of your medical team. Good luck!

Yes when my c-7 vetbrae started pushing on my spinal cord it affected my face. It finally wore through the myellin and now affectes my face, chest, and throat. Be careful and keep pushing doctors cause if it gets bad you will not like as I am speaking from experince. I finally had my c-7 fused but has left me with debilitating pain.
