Canada's Man In Motion, Rick Hansen, rolls out Wheels In Motion
TORONTO, Jan. 20 /CNW/ - What: Rick Hansen and Presenting Partner Scotiabank will launch Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion 2003, a national fundraising event that aims to raise awareness and funds to help people with spinal cord injury and to find a cure. The event will be launched at a news conference on Wednesday, January 22. Who: Rick Hansen, founder of the Rick Hansen Man In Motion Foundation Bob Chisholm, Vice-Chairman, Domestic Banking, Scotiabank Harley Nott, Chair, Canadian Paraplegic Association Dr. Michael Fehlings, Director, Neural and Sensory Science Program, Head, Spinal Program, University Health Network, Co- Director Rick Hansen SCI-NET Program Master of Ceremonies Jeff Adams, the first wheelchair athlete to climb the CN Tower.
