    Smile When someone says "Please pray for me," what do you pray?

    What prayer can you pray when you have no idea of someone's needs?
    No idea where they are hurting, where they are falling short, or how they need God's help?
    A prayer you can pray for someone of any age, family, friend, or foe (yourself).
    A prayer you don't have to ask if it's God's will. You know it is.

    "A Life Changing Prayer"

    If you pray this prayer your children will profit, your grandchildren will profit, your friend, or someone that's going through a difficult time that ask you to pray for them will profit. (You will profit)
    This prayer can snatch them from the jaws of all kinds of difficulty, hardship, and destruction if you pray it sincerely, consistantly, believe it & trust God to answer it.

    Colossians 1:7-14

    Paul was in prison for some time and was writing this to the Colossians he had not met yet.

    7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
    8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

    The prayer:

    9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
    10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
    11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
    12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
    13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

    9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might befilled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

    1. Pray for SPIRITUAL WISDOM -A SENSE OF GOD'S DIRECTION

    It is the will of God for every single person to know his will.
    What you're requesting is Direction for Someone's Life.
    Seeing Life From God's View Point and Operating on the Basis of the Father's Will.
    Knowing the Will of God is a Treasure.
    It prevents a person from wasteing their life, their time, their gifts, their talent, their treasure.
    The most powerful thing you can do for your child (anyone) is to pray for God to Give Them His Sense of Direction.
    How can you Obey God if you don't know the Will of God.
    God wants us to walk in obedience to him.

    10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    2. PRAY FOR A WALK WORTHY OF CHRIST'S NAME

    Walk in a Manner So Your Conversation, Conduct, and Character
    are Consistant with JESUS.
    Live a life pleasing to Jesus. So if someone meets you they meet him.
    Not on the outside but your conversation, conduct, and character reflects Jesus. If you put our lifes on opposite sides of the scales, as we walk our Christian lifes, as we live daily, as we learn the things of God our conversation, conduct, and character should weigh the same as his. They should balance each other.

    YOUR LIFE IS AN EXTENSION OF THE LIFE OF JESUS.
    The family of God.
    When Jesus ascended he left us so we can be his eyes, his hands, his feet, his love.

    YOUR LIFE IS AN EXHIBITION OF HIS CHARACTER
    That's who he is. This is who we are, filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in Godliness, Righteousness, Desiring to be Obedient to Him, having a Longing and a Hungrying in our Hearts for Him.

    YOUR LIFE IS A DEMONSTRATION OF HIS POWER
    God desires to demonstrate his power through us, because that's who he is. God desires that we know him, that we follow him, that we walk after his ways.

    10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    3. PRAY THAT LIFE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

    Make your life count.
    Alot of people are busy but it's not good work.
    Pray your life is worthy.
    When you look back on your life what will you see?
    We should pray our life should bare fruit in every good work.
    Life should MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
    Your "Good Work" is what "God Has Called You To Do."
    Ask God what he wants you to do with the gifts, talent, and skills he's given you.

    10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    4. PRAY FOR A DESIRE TO KNOW GOD

    To Grow in the Lord:

    Study The Bible
    The more you read the bible, the closer you will get to God.
    The dirtier your bible gets, the whiter your heart will be inside.
    You'll learn the ways of God.

    Apply What You Learn
    The Holy Spirit inside you reveals God's word to you.
    He will let you know if you aren't obeying God's word.
    Be receptive and don't grieve the Holy Spirit.

    Observe The Consequences
    By watching what happens when you do & don't obey the word
    you will see God working in your life.

    11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

    5. PRAY TO EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF GOD

    Pray for the Holy Spirit to give strength, power, energy, might to do the will of God. This helps you to understand Nothing is Impossible with God. Teaches you you can live a life that Seems Impossible, That is Possible With God. There is no end to God's strength.

    11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

    12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
    13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
    14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

    6. PRAY TO HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE BY JOYOUSLY GIVING THANKS

    Pray to look at life the way our Lord does.
    Kindness makes people attractive.
    A good looking person loses beauty as they age,
    but a gentle, kind, loveng, kind person only grows more beautiful.
    Strive to be the kind of person you're attracted to.

    +1 I'm Catholic and all that, but usually a quiet, simple good thought suffices. If we had to kneel by the bed and remember single person who needed a prayer by the end of each day, we'd never get any sleep!
