I have a gas one and an Electric I bought a couple years ago, I find myself mostly using the electric one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...EHDWWMDVWMMCZ4

very quiet and does a great job. A lot lighter and more easy to use than the gas one. Charges in a half an hour and runs for 45 minutes. Does most of my 1/2 acre yard on one charge. For heavy duty brush jobs I use the gas powered one.

I use the Black & Decker rechargeable Grasshog. It’s lighter and shorter than my gas trimmer. It comes with two batteries but they usually don’t last quite long enough for me to do my whole yard at once.
