    That is too cool. Nice pics Mike. We'll have a permanent colony on the moon and on Mars before I'm dead. I'm hoping so anyway. That pale blue dot does make one think on a grander scale, regardless of religious belief. As does that pale red dot.

    I think of the wasted past 30+ years, and I could cry.

    I always wondered how it´s possible to take a picture of the Earth like that and have absolutely no backround stars at all. You would think there would be trillions of them.

    Most likely they are all filtered out during processing.
