Lunar Eclipse happening now in the skies

If you are close to a window, look outside. It is occurring on the east coast. I can see it. It is beautiful. Wise.

I took my kids out to look at it. Very cool, and here it was just above the Horizon.

OJ, that is about what I saw here. my sister e-mailed me and told me about it so like an idiot I went out in the cold instead of going back to a window and staying warm.

I stayed up with my 7-yr old son to watch it, we had a great time talking about the moon and other planets.

My 10-yr old actually predicted the eclipse earlier using the fantastic free astronomical software Celestia. The kid is scary smart! But since he'd already simulated the event in software, he didn't bother to stay up to watch the real thing.

I had my camera good to go and had hoped to catch a few pics, but cloud cover intervened. Anyone get any good shots?
