    KBK, may I ask you to comment on material that you post? This may save people some time before they press the link that would download the file. Let me give an example:

    This is a press release about Hans Keirstead at UC Irvine. It announces a collaboration between UCI and a company called California Stem Cell, Inc. to do safety tests of potential stem cell therapies for families with spinal muscular atrophy.

    Looks like Kierstad is making good on his promises take stem cells to clinical trials. He indicated recently this work with SMA would allow (chronic) SCI treatments to move efficiently and quickly to humans.

    As I understand it, having assembled a team to navigate the FDA and set up a clinical trial for SMA, will help us as well.

    The team of Kierstad and Kerr holds promise.

    Hans is on it !!! just like it's laid out in the report that Jen and Brian did back in December when they visited Hans' lab.

    More animals studies will be beneficial, no doubt. But when will human studies begin?
