    How to describe AD Pain

Is there a medical term for the strange burning/pins and needles sensation that accompanies dysreflexia? Is there a better way to describe it? Doctor doesn't seem to think it's AD without the sky high blood pressure and sweating.

On another topic, I've tried lyrica, dilantin, elavil, cymbalta, neurontin, and now on topamax. None have helped relieve pain, all have have made me very drowsy. Has anyone tried a caffeine supplement to combat the drowsiness? (and yes, I will ask a doc first)

Can't really help you here, but it sounds like most of the problems goes back to docs with limited knowledge of AD, which frankly isn't at all surprising.
