Thread: Recipes for avoiding UTI's

Thank you mods. I apologize for my harshness but felt the topic
ignored too long and the benefit, too great.

One thing I have found that works for me is Hiprex. Also known as Mandelamine. It is an older med that is no longer popular. It is an antiseptic, not an antibiotic. I started it last September. At the time I was having an uti every 6 weeks or so. The only uti I have had since then is when I accidentally ran out! It certainly seems to work for me.

THere are several threads about it if you use the search. It is inexpensive, and seems pretty harmless. I wold think it would be worth a try.

Hiprex doesn't worth with a supra pubic catheter or indwelling catheter because the urine doesn't stay in the bladder.

Ah, that was the right word. Yes, it is. You can't use so difficult words, I have a little limited vocabulary You can get it like pills or liquid, the last thing is tasting terrible.
