I have shot Blood Clots into my lungs 3 times in the past , Now we are going on a vacation , I take 7.5 MG of Counadin daily the first flight is 4 hours and the second flight is 6 hours ,should I be concerned about shooting more clots , the DR said I should be ok if I move around , what is your opinion .

    Hey Larry

Go to your local drug store and get you some pressure hose. They are a bit expensive but they work and they will help major with swelling/pain if you have that after long flights.

    Enjoy your trip!!!!!

Couldn't tell from your profile if you were complete (no lower motor function).
If you use a cushion on your wheelchair (if you use one), you will want to use that on the plane.
When you do that your legs will probably be subject to pressure -- your feet will not be fully resting on the floor.
Consider placing enough paddig under your feet to leave a comfortable clearance under your legs.

    Cheers!

No I'm not in a wheel chair I can walk with the use of a cane or walker for short distances or I use a 4 wheel scooter for longer distances.

Move around, especially keep your legs and feet moving so the blood doesn't pool and take your Coumadin.
