Don't d/l music..... Only way to protect it.

But a good A/V and a active Spyware program, windows defender, will stop most issues.

Limewire forum says something about files ending in exe. and cmd. are bad files. Is there a listing of the other endings that are bad?

You should also use PeerGuardian. It will block alot of spam, and hopefully the RIAA.

Not really, as almost every file can be used to hide shit in.

Use common sense, odd size files are usually suspisious.. too big or too small.

Another problem download on these sites are RAR files. I have had a couple of viruses with them and would never download another. Whether it is file sharing or any type of downloading, or even email attachments, it is not hard to get a virus. I have found it wise to do a daily backup of all of my files.
