    Thanks Joe. I tried out the GTX and found the performance great. I really wish it would work for me but the problem is, I can't sit down first and then drop the foot plate. And I'm not sure how long I'll be able to negociate the transfer with the foot plate in the way. Now I can but the spasticity progresses with time.

    What Tilite offers is the two footrests flip down from the front metal stiles (?) and behind that, about 4" inside those stiles is a metal bar connecting the two sides. I just can't see how that bar could come off when it folds up.

    I will be issuing a fixed frame Quickie2 Lite with flip up footplates this afternoon. I'll try to get some pics.
