Lower back pain and frequent urine output

    Hi

I've been experiencing pain in my lower back and i also have to urinate almost every hour (day & night) although i'm not consuming alot of fluids. This all started last week Monday when i finally got back into the gym. Could this be a result of my training or is it a possible infection?

    Kind Regards

    Shawn

I would say you have a bladder infection.

You just said the magic words you are not consuming enough fluids. Increase your water intake there has to be some kind of infection maybe even stones in your kidneys. Go to your urologist and have him check you out for a urine infection or maybe even an ultrasound to your kidneys. Good luck and let us know what comes out.

Actually flank pain may indicate a UTI that involves your kidneys, not just a bladder infection. Do you also have a fever? Chills? Feel really tired? You need to see your doctor, get a urine C&S cooking, and get started on an antibiotic. Stones should also be ruled out as they are often associated with kidney infections in people with SCI.

    Hi

My doctor diagnosed it as a kidney infection and prescibed antibiotics which is working because i'm feeling much better.

    Kind Regards
