    recumbent tandem bike

has anyone built a 3 wheeled recumbent tandem bike?
my wife and I tried one today in Des Moines.
    It was fantastic and $8000.00
    it was made by wizwheels.com
she sat in front and I had the arm crank in back.

Do you mean wizwheelz.com? I've seen other tandem bikes with handcracks. One had a handcycle in front and a standard bike in back (no blocking the breeze). Too expensive for me, and my wife wouldn't enjoy it for long. She likes her own 21 speed. I'm getting a recumbent handcycle for myself.

If anyone has any links to tandems with a handcrank in front, it would be much appreciated! I'm looking for one, but don't see much available.

    Thanks!

I went back to look though all my handcycle favorites, but I couldn't find the advertisment or website that had the handcycle in front combo. Sorry, but I wasn't saving info like that. I just wanted a single handcycle.

I did find this. It's probably the same bike I saw (Handem-tandem on youtube)

bike-on.com has a Varna Hybrid Tandem with handcycle in back though.
