Maybe look at what the PS3 can do-

Here's what the latest PS3 software update did -

Also, I dunno what other systems are capable of, but you can have your own wallpaper or theme, and I have a big picture of Domokun. Yeah!

I bought a PS3!! It was christened on Friday night with some new Singstar karaoke and then I was too hungover to play it yesterday and the store had run out of MGS4 .

Has anyone tried a film on BluRay yet? I'm looking forward to that.

Blu-Ray looks fricken amazing. It is a huge leap above DVDs - but I think HD downloads may kill Blu-Ray long-term.

How easy is GTA4 with quad-paws?

    Chris.

I've mastered GTA4 on the Xbox 360 through perserverance and the fact that the triggers are easy to use with your wrist or side of your hand. Driving a car in it I'm awesome - better than AB mates. I'm a little slower on shooting but the new targeting system makes it easier. First game I've truly enjoyed post SCI.

Not sure I'll be as good with the PS3, I'm hoping MGS4 is doable. I'm going to buy Oblivion too and I like the look of Fallout 3.

Blu-Ray does look good, still haven't tried it yet.

Here is a general question for all in this thread.......

    1) Does any one "Create Video Games" (writes programs code)? or

2A) Does any one have a favorite hand held (ie; gameboy,PSP, any type of PDA & or cellphone{MUST PLAY DETAILED GAMES my cell phone takes calls too and has cheesy crapGames})?
2B) What is your Favorite hand held device game/s?
2C) Does the handheld sync with a laptop or desktop, and if so how (Bluetooth, USB, IR, WiFi, removable data card)?

Just curious and wanting to expand entertainment horizons exterior to the boob tube.

Squeeee! I am SO going to be bugging you for your Oblivion stats when you start playing. I'm not even joking.

I've got a couple of BluRay discs that came bundled with my PS3, Casino Royale and Spiderman 3, but I haven't looked at them yet *ashamed*.

I dunno how useful they'd be for quads, but for the PS3 controller you can get these plastic thingies which clip on to the L2 and R2 buttons (they make them a lot bigger, and easier to use). I wouldn't be without them.

Oooh. That might help a lot as it turns them into triggers. Cool, I'll get some

Yeah, I tried different things but I just persevered with the PS3 controller as is. I just wish I had time to play it. I'm about halfway through and I too kick ass at driving. Those things look great Keps! I'm ALWAYS accidentally bumping the triggers on my leg!

As my forthcoming move is forced - the owners of the building want to demolish and build something better - we have had a little compensation. Not loads of dough, but enough to pay some bills and buy some stuff. For me, "stuff" meant a PSP and some games - yeah!

I love the PSP! It's slim and lite and is black, and I have two games - Daxter, and Loco Roco. Loco Roco is tons of fun, and so cute.

I've also got The Orange Box and GTA IV for the PS3. Haven't looked at The Orange Box yet, but I had a go at GTA IV. I didn't do much, as my stomach was bad, but it's looking very interesting. I had problems with the screen being too dark - I need to sort out the setting. At first look, the game seems overwhelmingly complicated for me, but then I thought that about Oblivion at first, and it wasn't long before I got the hang of that.

I wanted Ratchet And Clank as well, but HMV had sold out. Boo. I played through it twice, before my original disc fecked up, and darnit, I wanna go through it again. (I am obsessed, and also, I wanna get some o' them trophies).
