Someone told me that if you became disabled before 21 you would be entitled to your deceased parent/s social security? True?

just for clarification I was asking if the person collecting Social Security disability was also entitled to collect extra funds from their deceased parent.

    The answer is no.

Uhh, I became disabled before 21, and my dad passed away 2 years before I became disabled, and I collect off of his social security. So I dont know, but thats what I get. I get about 1347/mo, as compared to the measly 600ish that most people get.
