Much success in business comes from being able to pitch a product, a project, or yourself. Steve Jobs of Apple has long been regarded to be one of the most successful at this.

The tips?
1. Build tension.
2. Stick to one theme per slide.
3. Use the entire range of voice and delivery to build to a climax.
4. Practice, practice, practice.
5. Be honest and enthusiastic.

These work as students, scientists, and everything else that you do. As the target of many pitches these days and trying to pitch some myself, I must say that these work.

Wise.
