    Help!!!! Im seeing green.....

    LOL

The people on my TV are now green after a storm today. Do you think my TV got hit by lightening? It horrendously stormed here today.

Ive been needing an excuse to find an HD TV......

You've lost 2 of your "guns". There are Red,Blue,Green guns in a normal tv. Though the loss of only 2 guns would be a weird result of a lightning hit, it is possible. Or it could just be coincidence.

Either way, this tv is on it's way out. You have your needed excuse. Unless, somebody has been back behind and somehow loosened any connections, this can also cause this kind of picture.

Go HD, you won't regret it. Just remember, an HDTV needs an HD tuner. If you use an antenna for tv signal, the tv will need a builtin tuner(more cost). If you use cable or satellite, you will proably need a new box, and upgrade your service.

Hi Daisy, a snip from another forum.......

"It'll more than likely be the TV monitor that's the problem with one of the 3 main colour generators having packed in, provided it's not one of the LCD or plasma screen types.

A good check whilst the picture is green, and I'm not joking, is to give the TV a decent slap on the top a couple of times and if the picture returns to normal briefly or semi-permanently, then it's probably time for a new TV."

Does that only work on inanimate objects? *slinks quietly off to bed*
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.
