For manual wheelchair propulsion?
My goal from the beginning was to be able to get around full-time in a manual chair. It's coming along, but not nearly as fast as I'd want... which is the case for just about everything with this damn injury. I've had a lot of people tell me to spend as much time in the chair as possible, but I was wondering if there were any specific exercises that would help speed the process. Rickshaw? Chest press?
I finally got my Uppertone on Monday and I've been using it every day since. I'm already starting to notice a difference, especially when it comes to pushing on carpeting.
Suggestions, anyone?
