People are using Apples Boot Camp with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and I am not aware of any issues/problems.

I'm looking to buy a new laptop with Vista, would Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 work okay with Vista?

Windows Vista only works with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.5. Vista has speech recognition and right now it is about equal to DNS Standard Edition.

    PN,

does the Dragon Standard Edition work quite well with Vista? Is there any one in particular that you would suggest? Thanks.

The word on the street is that Dragon NaturallySpeaking Standard Edition works about as well as Vista SR (speech recognition). You do not need to spend $100 for DNS Standard Edition. I would recommend Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred 9.5 or Professional for Windows Vista.

    PN,

I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Right now I'm just looking around for the right laptop to fit my needs. I have just found one that has the Windows XP Media Center Addition 2005, would Dragon NaturallySpeaking 7.0-8.0 work okay with this type of Windows?

    Thanks again,

    Rick.

I have windows XP. I use NaturallySpeaking 8.0 professional. I am thinking about getting 10.0 standard or preferred. I've read that 8.0 has a 70% accuracy rate, and 10.0 has a 95% accuracy rate. All I have seen mentioned on these posts is 9.5. Can someone please give me some assistance?
