Open pressure sores would be. They always are.

It would be great if the trials would happen in the good ole USA since my wife is deadly scared of flying. Im 7 years post, T6 complete and we have the funding just waiting for something to happen in the states.

I understand this might form bridges. Might one bridge over the SC injury and then innervate the bladder and then reduce or stop AD symptoms from when void? Thanks, Scott.

injury to T10 or lower may involve the lumbar enlargement and cauda equina.
    Dr. Young,

Would you please comment on the complications of including patients with the above injuries.

    Thank you.

    regeneration, but proper connection?

    regeneration, but proper connection?

How does the repair "mechanism" know what is damaged. thus what needs repaired? In other words, how do the stem cells know where to go ? And how do they know to connect which ends together so that a nerve to the bladder isn't conected from a nerve to one's foot? Thanks, Scott.

How might lithium work its magic?

People here are not wondering so much that lithium causes neurons to proliferate, but WHY it causes them to? Is there somewhere where there might be a brief hypothesis? Thanks, Scott.

    Dr Young,

First off, my goal is to one day stand before you & shake your hand. Even though I have never met you & only know of you through these forums, I'm constantly amazed at your drive to find a cure for SCI. Whether it's spending your own time or money, you are tirelessly pursuing a goal many thought was impossible. You are a rare gift to the SCI Community & on behalf of myself & my family - Thank you.
