    Wheelchair Pads

    I had the thought........
I currently sit on a Jay J2 wheelchair pad every day. I am a L1 complete para one year post injury. I do my weight shifts and skin inspections. I've been considering acquiring a Roho pad so what's left of my butt has a "different feel " every so often. It seems like it would be like wearing a different pair of shoes instead of the same pair each day of the week. Is there any research to back up this theory or debunk it? Anybody got any experience or suggestions to share on this.

I'll just be rollin' around and waitin' to hear what ya'll got to say. And yes.... I'm from the south.

I would recommend that you get computerized interface pressure testing on a variety of cushions to determine which one(s) are best for you. There is no one best cushion, and you can run into a lot of problems with both posture and skin by using one that is not right for your body.
