    Valentine's Day virus

    FYI:

A new malicious mass e-mail that infected computers on Wednesday comes with the subject line: "I sent you an eCard from American Greetings. Happy Valentine's Day!" It has links inside the message that ostensibly will allow the recipient to view the digital Valentine's Day card, but instead downloads malicious software that can take control of the machine and turn it into a zombie to be used for sending spam or attacking other computers.

Hmm, I got a suspicious email saying I had a Hallmark e-card from "M", but I noticed it came from a Gmail address and not hallmark. Could this be the same virus?

Had the same problem with a slew of these emails. Fortunately my antivirus software said it looked suspicious so I deleted it.
