SSI Medicaid will not cover me if I'm out of State?

If I travel to another state I will not be covered. I was told I will need to apply in each State even if I'm on vacation in order to get covered. So anytime I travel i'm at risk for not being covered.

    did you ask?

To file a complaint against a health care facility, report medicaid fraud, obtain information about AHCA or request a publication, call (888) 419-3456.

WOW, first time I've heard that. May be so, but I'd ask another person just in case. Doesn't make sense, but what gov agency does?

How long would you be on vacation. Why would the state have to know? If you expect attendant care to be covered, that may be a separate issue. Again, why would the stae have to know if itsa brief time away.

It doesn't matter how long I would be gone. If I end up in an out of state hospital they will not cover my aliment no matter what it is.
