    Best Shower/Commode Chair?

Looking for a new shower/commode chair. Which are your favorites and which ones do you not recommend? ( C6/7 fairly independent) Thanks!!

This has been discussed here many times before. I would suggest using the search feature and you will get more previous message treads about this than you will ever want to read. You also need to be more specific about your needs and bathing set up in order to deterine what is best for you.

KLD, thanks for the info. I had previously "searched" the equipment forum and found quite a bit of info., however, most of it is a couple of years old and wondered if anyone had any new thoughts on the subject.

    Mombo-
I have the ETAC Clean rolling shower chair. I love it...I've posted about it in the past. My new bathroom is nearing completion(FINALLY) so I'll soon get to use my new self-propelled one(previously had the one with small wheels only due to space in my old bathroom)... I highly recommend the ETAC chair.

If they had a soft back & no slit I'd try one.

Norm, did you consider an E+J shower/commode or one of these other two?

I got the E+J chair but my brother had to take a hack saw to cut off the excess threads on the bolts on the inside of the back wheels. Otherwise, it wouldn't have fit over a standard 15" wide toilet because the bolts were really scraping or interfering with the inside dimension of the chair. Even now it still scrapes the sides of the toilet and for $500...it's about 1/2 price.

You can get a padding for the back & seat, I have them....

There's not a "slit" just the regular hole in the center.

I have an E&J its the only showerchair I've used for 24 years.
