I wish I had drugs to forget. No, I'n not feeling cranky, well, no more than usual. I'm just channeling some great(re: not 80's) music that this thread made me think of. "Don't just call me pessimist. Try and read between the lines."

I liked a lot of the heavier 80s music, but my first real girlfriend who I lost my virginity to in the 80s was a cheerleader...... While I'm not a big fan of some of the love ballads, they sure do bring back good memories.

No, that was to the Survivor song.. Here's your lyrics.

I like your wooden door, baby
I never want to leave, baby
If I could rule the night, baby
    Id turn it into white
    There wouldnt _? _

    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    High on you

I like your rugged cross, baby
I dont pray in churches, baby
I got nowhere to worship, baby
    Because it isnt him
    I dont need a _? _ man

    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    High on you

    Terrorist in my heart
    Tearin it all apart
    Terrorist in my heart
    Tearin it all apart

I love the way you feel, baby
    The mornin startin drunk, baby
    Drinking of your soul, baby
    And everything I know
Digs the way your body glows

    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    High on you

    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high on you
    Im getting high

    Corrupting in the air
    I really need you
    You got two play rides
    I really love them
    My were getting high
    Are we getting high

It was one of the first movies to come to our new theatre here and we went to see Purple Rain. They gave us stickers for being the first people in. They were purple rain bumper stickers (small ones) I remember putting them on my brand new tennis shoes....LOL

Memories all alone in the moonlight......LOL
