Research boost from 'cell wells'

STEM Cell Sciences has unveiled an automated stem cell production unit at the Babraham Research Campus.

SCS is actively developing novel stem cell-based drug screens and assays for the world pharmaceutical industry.

It will use a state-of-the-art robotic cell culture machine, the Compact Select made by The Automation Partnership at Royston, along with sophisticated stem cell engineering tools to provide the pharmaceutical industry with the "cells in wells" needed for advanced drug discovery.
