Project Walk® Announces a Special on ABC’s ‘AM Northwest’

Beaverton, OR, December 12, 2006 – On Wednesday, December 13, 2006, Portland ABC affiliate KATU’s morning news program ‘AM Northwest’ will feature a story on the Portland location of Project Walk Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center. On the air since 1976, ‘AM Northwest’ features Helen Raptis, Carl Click, and Corinna Allen and airs daily on KATU Channel 2 at 9:00am. The special will highlight the advances of Project Walk’s client Michael Tabata and focus on the goals and successes of the newly opened Project Walk facility in the Portland area. Opened in June 2006, Project Walk offers hope to individuals with all levels of spinal cord injuries by offering the tools, training and unwavering support to help them achieve their goal of a life outside of the chair.
