It took four men, a bunch of rope, and a pickup truck to pull a nearly 1,000 pound cow from a swimming pool in Zachary, Louisiana Tuesday morning. The cow was not injured.

"The cow was in the shallow end, thankfully," said East Baton Rouge Parish Animal Control worker Wayne Bielitz.

Bielitz says a homeowner called police after discovering the cow stuck in the pool at 7:20am.

The cow somehow got out of a nearby pasture and fell into the pool. The owner of the cow was cited for having an animal at large. He was issued a misdemeanor citation that carries a fine of up to $500, Bielitz said.
Crazy bull.
