Can you post the Congressman's emails and/or their health aides email with whom we should target? Thanks!

If they wont answer the phone there's always fax and email

I can see what I can find. I've been mainly getting voicemail boxes, didn't note the names.

    Changing his tune

The guy I talked to in Congressman Hastert's office was really nice to me. I told him that me, my family and millions of families around the nation were looking for Congressman Hastert's leadership in push the CRPA through this session of congress. I told him Rep. Hastert's republican voice is essential to ensure this bi-partison bill passes. I made sure he wrote down my name and message. He said he has gotten a number of calls today. He must have softened as the day wore on.

cheese, I'm going to make my calls in the next hour or 2 -- I'll call all the people on the list, but should we try to focus on Hastert.... I sent out an e-mail to bunch of friends yesterday, but wasn't sure who everyone should target if they have a limited amount of time????

It took me about 30 minutes to make my calls. I started with Hastert and Pelosi since they are the outgoing and incoming Speakers of the House. If you want to prioritize, leaning on the Republicans is probably the best approach. It sounds like language is being negotiated right now with the Republican side of the house. With Rep. Hastert, I name dropped other Republican congressman who are cosponsors -- especially my own -- Rep. John Klein.

Side note--The person I spoke with in Pelosi's office seemed very disengaged. That front needs work, I think, to get their attention. They are probably just majorly swamped with all the publicity re: Pelosi's upcoming Speaker of the House role.
