Thread: sci/cure/research ribbon color?

    sci/cure/research ribbon color?

I was doing a little research, and I was just wanting to make sure what I've found is true. I was wondering what color of ribbon is used to support sci research as well as stem cell research...and I want to make sure what I found was correct.

From what I've come across green is the right color...

But, I was looking at some old posts and came across sci-steps purple ribbon car magnet. I know all the different colored ribbons represent so many different things...I figured I'd come to the experts.

I have an idea for a t-shirt which would incorporate the green ribbon...but I want to make absolutely sure that is the correct color. I hope the shirt would help to promote awareness to sci and ongoing research. Its just an idea for now...but we'll see.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

That being said, is it offensive to make any color you want? I don't want to deviate if there is one that exists.

Why not come up with a multi-coloured one that includes the colours from the world's flags ... so we can speak for those who can't. Paralysis affects people throughout the world ... just a thought.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.
