Hey van damn , tooth aches are pretty bad , as a kid growing up is when my problems began , I ended up having a total of 7 root canals (my older brother hit me in the mouth and broke my front tooth ) and it turned out to be a waste of time , as I am toothless and only 50 , I can't wear the bottom dentures but the top ones are ok no more tooth aches ,but 4 months ago when I was on Dilaudid and sleeping I had this dream , that my dog was my dentist ,I know you're supposed to take out the dentures at night but some nights I forget, and this night I thought my dog was my dentist and in my sleep I gave him my upper dentures , and when I woke up he chewed them into 6 pieces , so back to the dentist and some pieces were missing , so I had to put up another $700 to buy a new set Insurance paid the balance, that medication really gave me some wierd dreams , but that one toped them all , but thoses 7 root canals were the start of all kinds of pain .Then when I was older and got married after 7 years of marriage got married in 1977 then in 1985 my real troubles began when the convayor at work fell over on me and now 23 operations and 7 root canals later , I just take 1 day at a time ,but my life has been full of all kinds of pain since I was 7 years old , so hang in there the bright side no more tooth aches ,good luck;LBUSH Oh yeah I still can't wear my bottom teeth only my top one my wife says you can't tell still able to eat everything but peanuts.

hey van damn , my gums on the uppers have turned black and blue from all those root canals , that's why I have to wear the uppers ,my father went around toothless yet he could still eat fruit steak everything but nuts , he never had any root canals , I have a seizure disorder due to my brother too ,he got into a car accident and my head smashed the windshield and left a big spider web crack , If he didn't stick out his arm I probably would of gone right through it I was 12 then no seatbelts back then38 years ago ;LBUSH

    VanDamn-
just so ya know, Ditropan can lead to tooth problems/cavitites/etc b/c of severe dry mouth...SO if ya never had probs before and you've been on Ditro. that can be an explination to why you've got 6 teeth now that yer having to have removed... Sorry yer in pain from the extractions....I know it sucks...Hope yer mouth is starting to feel better by now tho. Hope it's A LOT better by tommorrow nite, afterall, it's race time & ya wanna have wings or somethin' good right?

LBUSH49--I'm just getting home from getting 3 more pulled. The top ones hurt more. One had some bone connected and left the sinus membrain exposed. He had to put 3 stiches and some kind of foam piece. My whole right side hurts.Feel like I got kicked in the face by a bull.
