    Weight Gain...?

After my accident in January of '05, I lost a lot of weight.
15 lbs to be exact. It doesn't sound like a lot, but I only weighed 105 to begin with. & now I can't gain it back. I've tried everything, and I've only gained like 5 lbs back.

    Any suggestions for gaining weight?
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Not trying to be funny ... but I will give you 20 of my extra pounds!

To speak to your post ... new pounds will arrive with age. Perhaps this is just your muscle mass loss after injury? Is you physician concerned?

It would appear you are concerned.

Haha, I could probably use them!

I don't know what it is. When I was in the hospital, I didn't really eat much, because I'm a picky eater, and I didn't like the food. Haha.
My doctor isn't really concerned about it; I've always been small.
But now I think I'm too small. I'm 17 years old and I had to buy jeans at Limited Too the other day. Pathetic.

    Grrr. Haha.

Heck, I'd say snack all day on cheetos and fatty potato chips.

do you ever feel hungry? sometimes i forget to eat. you should count your calorie intake and make sure you plan a diet that will provide. try having dessert before dinner. and building muscle will add pounds and the fillin' that you want. above all if you feel healthy and think healthy then that will always trump looks.

I'm in the same boat as you. I eat everything...actually I'm eating chips right now.

I lost about 30 lbs while I was hospitalized. Right now I'm 6' around a 130-135 lbs. I've always been lean and didn't have much of a butt. Now I really don't have one!

I'm never really hungry, but I eat all the time. Haha, weird, I know. I take in anywhere between 2,000-3,000 calories a day, so I should be gaining weight.
I love the dessert idea. I'm totally trying that.

My son's the same way. He's 19, 2 years post and just rail thin. He eats all the time, though not like before his accident, but just puts on no weight. Some of it's muscle loss, there's nothing below his waist, but you can see his ribs and spine. You can tell which spinal bones were broken by their shape thru the skin.
