    Your Dream Occupation

If money weren't an issue and you had good health and physically
able, what type of a job, business/occupation would you enjoy?

I dream of having a little shop on Main Street in my hometown.
A Coffee Shoppe called "The Abbey", where the morning "coffee clatch"
(farmers/store owners) could gather and the after-school kids could sit, chat/read a book or do homework over a soft drink or cocoa.

It would have overstuffed chairs, coffee tables, sofa's and tables@ chairs on those old wood floors. On the walls would be my baskets wrapped/ready for purchase as well as other crafts with the aroma of coffee, candles and potpourri combined.
Your life is what you make it, and only you have that choice!

Would there be a book shelf with pre-read paperback that you take/leave as you need and a kitty that wanders around?

I would come and open a bookstore next door....LOL

I have always dreamed of having a bookstore with a used section in the back. I love the smell of old paperbacks. I think from the many trips there with my Grandpa many years ago. I have been looking at ones for sale in some various little towns but havent found the right one..LOL It has to be on mainstreet with lots of traffic from locals.

Debbie wanted to become a doctor specializing in research. Had her injury occurred later in life, I suspect I know what she would be researching.

If I had the money, Queen, one of my dreams is also very similar to yours. Fortunately, since you're in Indiana and I'm in Ohio, we would not be in competition.

Debbie and I share a common dream as well. We'd like to have a large farm with enough room to rescue animals. We have a vision of helping teens who are having difficulties with life for various reasons by having them help us on this farm, learning love and responsibility by caring for the critters. If only....

Already lived my dream...Just not as long as I would have liked. Problem is now I have trouble finding a different career path that I'm so passionate about.

Now I hope to compete in a triathlon some day. It's not a occupation rather a personal goal.

i wanted my own flower shop, but i kind of lost my interest in it. i like to do it on my own terms, like my photography. i guess if i never got hurt, i'd still want to do the flower arrangements.

i always wanted to be a radio personality. and those of you who know me (or don't), knows that i never shut up.
