    Medicare Package Selected

Because I'm not 65 and eligible for Medicare solely due to my disability, only two options are available thru Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

These are Anthem Medicare Preferred - Standard with a premium of
$22 per month. You can chooses any doctor, but finding one within their network costs you less. You have a $20 co-pay for doc visits and a $10 to $30 Copay on your drugs. This plan covers mostly your generic drugs only.

    or

Anthem Medicare Preferred - Premier which is $42 a month and includes your supplement, drugs and a 'Silver Sneaker' program. This plan covers
more "formulary" Brand name drugs which I take plus it covers a "therapy
program" at a facility within the network. I'll have to check out several
places like the YMCA, Ladies Only, etc. to see who participates.

This sure beats the $498 I have been paying each month for my individual policy and it didn't cover my brand name drugs either.

If you go to www.silversneakers.com you can find participating fitness centers in your area. A lot of YMCAs (but not all) participate. Also, once you are registered for silver sneakers, you can go to any other participating facility.

What does an ancient mummy need with a fitness center? Do they re-wrap you in mummy cloth?

I'll have you know my YMCA has a spa with specially treated water, they mentioned something about an acid. The provide cucumbers with a mold that can miraculously take years off your life, as it reabsorbs wrinkles, eliminates crows feet, sagging flesh and they have even guaranteed they can lift my spirits, jowls, smooth my turkey neck at the same time getting rid of my hump! I'll be sure to put a before/after pic in for you to see the new glow and radiance exuding from my face. Tah...dah!!!! So there!!!
