ASHEBORO — Randolph County’s Richard Petty will be among the seven men honored as Outstanding Americans by the Paralyzed Veterans of America at a Tuesday night gala in Washington, D.C.

The gala is planned by the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) to celebrate its 60 years of service while “honoring visionary individual and corporate leaders who have proven a resolute dedication to our nation’s vast community of heroic veterans and championed quality of life for all people with disabilities.”
