Smile Home from Vegas , lets talk

Hey my friends I missed you. We got home last night from our 4 day trip. We stayed at Monte Carlo. It was so hot I had to wear my elbow pads to even rest my arms on wheelchair ouch!. I will start by saying I did well the first 2 days then my health wasnt too good the last night and half (stomache) cant handle eating alot and if I wait too long then its uncomfortable. I went into the RIVER POOL it was awesome, hubby held me in his arms craddled,ha,ha,ha and we went around, I loved it. Met many nice people and we sat with 2 ladies in thier 30s who were so fun (party gals), they set me up in the lounge chair, brought me things, they even took me into the WAVE pool and sat with me, had my football plastic monte carlo mega cup with drink, and they thought I was thier age of course that made my trip!.

Won some money lost some, came home with 160$. Access: Paris we love always, HATE thier bathrooms in shopping areas. Monte carlo bathrooms (ok), Harrahs ok, Venetian ok, Cesars is my favorite hotel always very accessible, all in all I got stuck in bathrooms about 6 times, bashed knees about 3 times, most were being used by AB folks (totally open stalls for people but they were very large women using them, not a problem for me but when I have to get in there it IS A REAL problem (I wet through my Diaper once badly). Shopping I love Cesars and Alladin and Paris.

We had a suite, we opted for it instead of our HC room because we wanted our own Jacuzzi (hubby can lift me easily) and door was plenty wide to get in, we got it for only 90 more dollars TOTAL!! for the trip

BEST BEST BEST part of trip was seeing the FAB FOUR show at the Alladin, its the Beatles (not the Love dance show), these guys were beyond real looking and sounding (live music not canned), for 24$ (half price tickets) its worth 200.00$ a seat for me, we got in before EVERYONE (all Wheelchairs) only 3 of us in them, our spot was Prime seating just perfect, got our drinks and enjoyed hour and half of the most fabulous thing Ive seen in years. I bought a few memorabila there and a beatles coffee cup.

Wax museum we LOVE that at Venetian, TOTALLY in accessbile to GET to it, so guy from Venetian took us ALl the way over there, its a real trip to find where to get to Elevators outside of hotel, took us 20 mintues to find but well worth it, VERY accessible to see the museum once your in. A little Girl took to me, she was 7, I told her in the gift shop I loved the I love Lucy show and stuff there, so all of the sudden she shows up and hands me a top with I love Lucy and smiles" THis is PERFECT FOR YOU" what can I say it made my day.

On the way to Vegas out of Denver, we were the Lucky CHOSEN couple for SPEACIAL screeing , me who never travels of course, so they forgot to stamp us after it, and they came DOWN to our gate and did it again, I was mortified and peeved, they never offered to be in private area and I told them so, we were treated horribly by United, we had booked Bulk head (so hubby can carry me to bathroom (you all know how small I am), the United rep was rude and I called him out and embarassed him, what Jerk, I can handle myself verbaly that way. Flying Frontier back was a dream, they were SO curtious to me and helpful, and were so kind when doing my patdown. MY Chair was not damaged at all on trip.

We hope to go back next June and take our oldest for her 21st bday and stay possibly at Cesars or somewhere diffrent.

All in all, great trip, always wishing my health was more stable but since its not thats how it goes, I still go with it and enjoy.

Word to those traveling (whom havent in years) TELL the screeners if you have hardwear, or phsyical parts that cannot be touched as I do, Im very specific or they can really mess you up physcialy, always ask for same Gender for screening also (some of those people have 0 IQ's I swear, and you need to spell it out. Jsut be diligant and respectful (you dont want to piss off a screener or TSA guys(I call them the Big brother watchers), sometimes they do thier job well and sometimes they are total asses, jsut smile and be smart, you dont have to be a victim of harm to you or your medical Equipment during the process if you speak up.

Hoping to get some pictures developed.

That’s great, I live here and have done almost all the things you did. It has been hot but not so much up here where we live. Did you do the Monte Carlo brew pub? Was one of my favorite places until a year or so ago they changed the menu but the giraffe of beer is still good. Will have to catch the Fab Four on your recommendation on a local special or something. I like the Monte Carlo when we were just visiting we stayed there a lot, it’s easy to get into and out of and has a great location. Did you see anyone from Oceans 13 they are filming some of it here the last week or so? How about Wynn’s? It’s cool but way to expensive. I am out two miles from the new Red Rock Casino you must take a trip out here sometime it’s absolutely beautiful. Saw George Clooney eating on the outdoor patio of the Italian restaurant over the weekend.

    Come back soon!!!

NORM: New 'Ocean' might premiere in Vegas

The Bellagio is being considered for the world premiere of "Ocean's Thirteen," producer Jerry Weintraub disclosed Wednesday.

Weintraub said leading man George Clooney raised the possibility during a break in filming at the resort Wednesday

"We're talking," Weintraub said. "George said, 'Have you thought about it?'"

Plans to hold the world premiere of the remake of "Ocean's Eleven" at Bellagio fell through in 2001 in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terror attacks. Security concerns were cited as the reason at that time.

"Security issues don't exist now," said Weintraub. "It's a big city now, and I've got some ideas."

Returning to the Bellagio for "Ocean's Thirteen" scenes was the plan all along, he added.

"(MGM Mirage bosses) Terry Lanni and Bobby Baldwin have been fantastic to us," said Weintraub, who has another "Ocean's" shoot planned for next month at Bellagio.

Weintraub also has had a longtime relationship with MGM Mirage megaboss Kirk Kerkorian.

Weintraub revealed script details for the first time on the scenes that were shot in Las Vegas over three days this week.

Tuesday's shoot was at the construction site of Palazzo, the $1.6 billion, 3,025-room sister property to The Venetian.

"Al Pacino's character, Willie Bank, is building a casino called The Bank and (Danny Ocean's heist team) comes into town to see him," Weintraub said.

Glad you are back. I missed you but knew you were having a "wild" time in Vegas. It is great you had a wonderful time. You truly deserved it. Its nice to meet people to hang with once you get somewhere. Only three months til my trip to Vegas. I am having an extra hard time keeping it from my daughter. She catches me at odd times and asks where are we going for my birthday. We are staying at MGM. I cant wait!!!!!
