Ortec's FDA Approved Cell Line Plays Pivotal Role In Creation Of First Embryonic Stem

This is the Singapore company that had reported doing this about three years ago. I am a little skeptical that this is an "FDA-approved" line in the sense that it has been approved for use in humans. Several other companies also have cell lines that are not contaminated by mouse feeder cells. So, I think that there is a bit of hype in this announcement. On the other hand, it is good that there are companies working on this.
