Thread: How long should you relieve pressure?

    How long should you relieve pressure?

    All the books say you should relieve pressure every 20 -30 minutes. They don't actually say how long you should relieve pressure for. Would you say one or two minutes is long enough, or should it be longer?

    We recommend 15 seconds every 15 minutes. If you go as long as 30 minutes, then 1-2 minutes would be best.

    Does this apply to all seating or can the time be extended on roho cushions?

    Weight shifts are in addition to a good cushion. One does not replace the other.
