    Check this one out

SDRC is the ticker symbol. It is supposed to have some good news coming out today. I loaded up about 3 months ago when it was about .05

Holy back from the dead thread! Amazing 'hand of god' rally since this thread started, eh? I guess the elections are over, the GS commodities index shuffle and its effect on gas prices sorted out, and now were are at a crossroads. Monday the indexes held at the trend line, Tuesday the hedgie war broke out (you could see the shots being fired watching the chart stream, who had the biggest guns, LOL). The rest of the week, well, who knows. My paranoid thoughts are the election is over...so no headline risk of the market and its perception of it being the economy not being gloriously perfect. Current holdings: CSCO, NYX, CROX calls, I'm playing the short squeeze momentum thesis lately. I did play some interday puts on QQQQ Monday, nice 1 point drop eh? We'll see if the rally continues...

You and your options! I wish my broker would allow me to do naked calls. I was practicing on CBOE.com with a virtual account just buying calls and puts. Damn it is easy money compared to just straight out buying the stock. I'll reapply in January to see if they would allow me or I'm changing. Covered calls are not for me because I do not hold them that long.

    I currently have:
    Cisco CSCO
    Chevron CVX
    Borders BGP
    Fannie Mae FNM
    Corning GLW

I have about $2,500 spread pretty evenly across them, but am considering Johnson & Johnson.

CSCO, cool, I like it lately
GLW...20,26,20,26, that is almost like a broken record...but it should be a good holiday shopping hype stock for you.
Now NYX...gotta plan around today's possible bounce, analcyst commentary piled the sellers on that one for me, LOL

    Acorda therapeutics!!!!
Anybody else own ACOR?? Besides Wise.

I joined CC in April '06 and through this site I found out about Acorda Therapeutics. I spent about $100+k and accumulated 35,000 shares of ACOR in July and August as part of my speculative portfolio and I put it away figuring it's an investment in getting on my feet. I'm up over $400,000 on ACOR alone!! But I'm not selling or trading this one. Looking to the future! edit: I just sold 15,000 sh @ 16. YIPPEEE. STILL RIDING 20,000 ACOR plus huge profits realized!!

just couldn't contain myself! it's exciting!

Look into AIG looks like it is going to be a big year end quarter with a lot of new products ( policies) that just came out this quarter and did well ,
Hoping it at least gets to the $80.00 range by year end some say could hit $100 though by the end of the year , I just got a few shares at $70 this morning..
Never know might make 25% by the new year..
I have done pennies but lost more than I made . It is fun to watch a stock do 1000% in a day though,,,I only had one of those went from .0005 to .01 in a day my $200 investment went to $5000 in a few days , but just like the casino gave it back a week later...
Stocks are fun but you gotta stay on top of the high risk stuff to make a buck..

Good job, kinda like trading options. Kinda would be nice if you could see the next week's chart sometimes, eh? I'm a well known detractor of ACOR around these parts now...and my advice is keep your eye on it, I'm calling it a pump and dump scheme. Latest form 4's show ACOR exec's hemmoraging their holdings to the tune of 7 million, thats getting close to 2% of the market cap, and ACOR isnt 'buying' them back. And all the IPO broker's paid analysts have already made their 'super strong buy NOW' recommendations, so no more momentum there. If that thing shows weakness, take your money and run. Fundamentally this thing is riding on thin air, and speculatively questionable also (I dont think much of 4AP or the results of trials thus far). How's that for a wet blanket? LOL

Looks like the 'hand of god' rally is still in place, not too sure if NYSE floor trading getting botched caused the late day clean up rally today or the hand of god is propping the market up again. The millions of index share dumping across both exchanges in the final minutes made me scratch my head, but I'm comfortable being long still. My darling NYX closed at $100 today, damn fine recovery I must say.
