i get very tired and exhausted still after heavy work-outs, swimming, surfing, anything strenuous wipes me out for a day. i think i am under nurished as i am never hungry anymore. i also have a hard time chewing my food, it makes my jaw tired and then harder to swallow. did you experience any of this? i am just shy of 5 months post

I'm the same way nicotico. After water therapy and lifting, i can barely walk to my car. After i lay down for alittle i'm fine again, but it really whipes me out for awhile.

I found drinking this protien supplement anytime i feel drained really helps, i don't know if its a mind thing but whatever it is, i like it.

There was a stage when I got home from rehab and i'd just lay in my bed not eat any food, and all i wanted to do was sleep then when i tried to eat, it was hard like you described but i was eating like 300 calroies a day and that was just bad news. How many calories in a day r u eating?

i am between 1000 and 1500 i hope. i take a protein shake several times a week as well. i am just not in a good place (mom's house and she is wacko) so it is hard to get motivated to cook and prepare exactly what i would like. i cannot wait to move next month and then live with a sister or brother or a girlfriend who will help motivate me. i am impressed with the stimed abs. i saw your other posts about it. i am thinking that is a good idea, how much was your tens unit? i have good spasms in my abs that have kept my stomach from being huge, but i get the exact same bloated feeling if i eat too much. huh? too much to do!

Well the fact that its hard to chew up food, its gota mean your needing more calories than what your taking in and if you have zero enegery but thats just my guess. What you can do is maximize what you eat so you don't feel bloated. Like for instance, you could eat a sandwitch with bread. The bread takes up alot of space in your stomach and gives you that bloated feeling. Or you could eat chicken or pork, which wil give you just as much protien but won't make u feel bloated if its lean. Just pick the right foods. I'm addicted to non-fat yogurt as well w/ fruit.

It sounds like you need to live in a better enviromnet so thats good ur getting out of there. I have a Neuromsuclar stim unit, which isn't a tens unit.

The TENs unit will only stimulate surface nerves while a neruomsuclar will actually go deep into the msucle and help rebuild it and make it stronger. A TENs unit is mainly used for Pain, while a neuromuscular stim unit will build/maintain muscle. I bought mine out of the pocket becuase insurance didn't cover it (cause mine sucks), it was around 800. But lots of people found cheaper priced ones. Like Bruce found a cheaper one and he said it works good for him. Search this forum for stim units and i think u might find alot!

    goodluck

Great work man!! Your abs are incredible for stim and diet!! Can you flex them at all? If you could do just the tiniest of crunch you would have better abs than 90% of bodybuilders.

nicotico - if youre working out and swimming and all that, 1500 should probably be on the lower end of how many cals you are eating. The reason you are feeling tired is because your glycogen stores have been depleted after a hard workout. It would be more benefiticial to drink a protein drink pre-workout and eat approx 40-50 grams of carbs post-workout to replenish those stores.

Once again - great pics and accomplishments cory!!

IMPOSSIBLE IS JUST A BIG WORD THROWN AROUND BY SMALL MEN WHO FIND IT EASIER TO LIVE IN THE WORLD THEY'VE BEEN GIVEN THAN TO EXPLORE THE POWER THEY HAVE TO CHANGE IT. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOT A FACT. IT'S AN OPINION. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOT A DECLARATION. IT'S A DARE. IMPOSSIBLE IS POTENTIAL. IMPOSSIBLE IS TEMPORARY.

    IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

    Thanks man,

I unfortuantley i can only flex the right side alittle, not enough to do a crunch but its getting stronger and stronger. Like my body feels more whole again, rather then a head and sholders. I am now able to stand up and lean side to side to work my obliques.
