I've just returned home from a 5 weeks training stay at a rehab. center here in Norway and my major focus for that trip was to strenghten the hip muscles in my right to give me better stability while standing. Also did a lot off trunk exercises.
Found out during that stay that I can also work out my right leg using weights now. Muscles like hamstring, quad, adductors I work out in machines. It feels good not having to search for an exercise to work a spesific muscle. Now I can just jump onto a machine and work f.ex the hamstring. If you know what I mean?
So my right has gotten pretty strong and all this week I've used the trunk of my car for storage of my chair while driving. I stand up beside the car and then through the chair in. Then I walk holding on the rails on the roof and using one crouch and then just jump in and drive. It feels awesome![]()
It takes abit longer but I don't care because it makes me feel so good.
Also found out this week that the hospital in Trondheim, where I was stuck for 6 months after my accident, wants me back for a 4 week intensive threadmill training stay. Exellent!![]()

4AP is working great, my bowel program is so much better, i do notice sensation improvements as well and engery is also increased. Since I got on the pills I am able to do a mile on the bike in 13 mins (level 2, meaning its harder) and before it would take around 23 minutes (level 1) to do a mile. My Trunk control has increased a ton as well. I'm going to try to ramp it up even more though, 10mg 3x a day doesn't give me the feeling 20mg did.
